Profit for Purpose

Enviro-dynamics operates on a ‘profit for purpose’ model whereby a percentage of our profits from commercial work is redirected into projects that create positive change in the landscape for Tasmanian people and our unique environment.

The focus of this profit for purpose contribution is to support projects, community groups and events with the in-kind commitment that is needed to keep long-term conservation and land management programs going.

We support these projects either in entirety or through gaps in funding cycles by in-kind staff time or working at cost. Without this contribution many of these critical projects would be unable to progress and it is important to the Enviro-dynamics team that these important activities continue.

Projects and community groups we support include:

  • The Landscape Recovery Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation established by Enviro-dynamics to protect and restore biodiversity and ecological processes on a landscape scale. Go to the Landscape Recovery Foundation website.

  • The Derwent Catchment Project and a wide range of land management and conservation programs in the Derwent Catchment. Go to the Derwent Catchment Project website.

  • Threatened Plants Tasmania – We have provided support with strategic planning, volunteer coordination and administration.  Go to the Threatened Plants Tasmania website.

  • Hobart Women’s Shelter - Acting on a pro bono basis, we have provided bushfire planning to ensure this project was able to go ahead. Go to the HWS website.

  • Women in Conservation – Promoting opportunities for all people interested in conservation is important to us. We contribute to the promotion and organisation of these events in Hobart.

  • Saving Morrisby’s Gum – We have coordinated this project, developed a conservation plan for the species and are currently helping to access funds for a three-year recovery program.
